About Chirai Tor Mata Mandir Chirai Tor Mata Mandir is a well-known Hindu temple located in Datia. The temple is dedicated to Durga, a powerful form of Shakti, the divine feminine energy in Hinduism. Location of Chirai Tor Mata Mandir Chirai Tor Mata Mandir is located near Seondha Chungi in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, India. History of Chirai Tor Mata Mandir According to local traditions and historical references, the temple dates back to around 1658. It is believed to have been established during the reign of Maharaja Bir Singh Deo, a prominent ruler of the Bundela dynasty who constructed several historical structures and temples in the Datia region. During that period, the hill where the temple stands today was covered with Khair trees.
